The Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, partner of the “BUILDING BRIDGES – PROMOTION OF WELLBEING AND SOCIAL INCLUSION AND OF FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS” project, is pleased to announce the organization of the 1st International Congress on Emotional Intelligence and the 3rd International Seminar on Emotional Intelligence, based on the topics Education, Inclusion and Development (III SIIE), on 21-23 February 2019.
This scientific event aims to promote peer discussion at the level of Emotional Intelligence, Emotional Competence and Emotional Education.
As such, the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança welcomes the civil, academic and professional community to enjoy a three-day-event of sharing, debate and reflection on new research work presented as challenges within the scientific thematic areas of the III SIIE2019.
The event will present and offer a new approach to critical thinking in education and inclusion, as underlying dynamic resources. Technical, didactic and educational suggestions for emotional, cognitive and social development from childhood will be presented as a model of action that involves school, family, community and human development, in general.
The organization welcomes national and international researchers and professionals, w teachers, educators and caretakers, in general, as well as other professionals who are interested in the new concepts of this multifactorial phenomena, for example well-being, education of emotions, resilience, happiness, thus providing all participants with an enriching scientific, technical, professional and pedagogical experience.

The III SIIE2019 is accredited by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council of Continuing Education of the University of Minho and is considered as adequate training for teachers, providing 20 hours of training.
